Juan González Iglesias - Spain

Juan states:"I started step by step about 15 years ago, but I recently found a style I'm comfortable with. The style is completely self made, so my influences are pop culture and, more each day, spirituality. I spend the day trying to feel high vibrations that show me the way. In my art I try to make visible that ethereal realm that I use to be in contact with. Day by day the pop culture fades and all that remains are the spiritual sensations I live in contact with."

Awards of Merit
Susan Thompson - United Kingdom
https://www.instagram.com/susanpatthompson/

Susan states:"I have spent the majority of my working life nursing. However, I have always made time to engage in some form of art-making and further education. My practice is an intuitive journey, born from feelings rather than words. I dive in without sketches, letting music, colours, or even a random mark guide me. My art balances freeform spontaneity with controlled geometric shapes, hinting at landscapes and patterns. Colours fuel my passion; their bold fusion is my joy. I blend hues on impulse, seeking that moment of knowing."

Honourable Mention Awards

Francesco Damiani - Italy
https://www.instagram.com/damiani.francesco1975/

Francesco states:"I graduated in chemistry almost 15 years ago and after my first experiences as a chemist I moved very naturally to dealing with art. My works are often modular, made from smaller components that can be assembled to give very different results. Molecules, cells, tissues, organs inspire the most complex compositions of some works. Those who observe the installations recognize something familiar, biologically inherent in each of us that moves and perpetuates itself. It is a positivist and pragmatic vision of life that wants to remember the joy and pleasure of being in the world. It is a personal practice that draws on memories and pleasant gestures: the constructions in wood and modeling clay that dry in the air recall childhood games, the sculptures soft to the touch, the bodies embraced and loved. My research is dedicated to this salvific and life-giving force."
